Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday spoke at length about the controversy surrounding Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Sanatana Dharma remark. Addressing a massive rally at Bina in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi said that the INDIA alliance has a “hidden agenda” to attack and end Sanatana Dharma culture.
Unlocking an all-out attack on the opposition bloc – the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi called it an ‘INDI alliance’ that ‘has no leader’.
“At a time when Bharat is emerging as a world leader at global forums, some parties are trying to divide the country and its people. These people came together to form an ‘INDI’ alliance. Some people call it a ‘ghamndiya (arrogant) alliance’. They have no leader yet and there is a lot of tension over who would lead them to the Lok Sabha elections next year. They are working with a hidden agenda, which is to attack Indian culture,” Prime Minister Modi said.
Prime Minister Modi also claimed that the Opposition bloc had passed a resolution in its third meeting to “end Sanatana culture” in the country.
The Prime Minister said, “This INDI alliance has passed a resolution to put an end to our ‘Sanatana’ culture. They are determined to destroy the ideologies, cultures and traditions that have held the country and our people together for centuries.”
PM Modi’s attack on the opposition came a few days after CM MK Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin said Sanatana Dharma is incompatible with the concept of social justice and should be ‘eliminated’. exterminated and not fought against,” said Udhayanidhi Stalin.
Prime Minister Modi addressed the gathering after laying the foundation for several worthwhile projects ₹50,700 crores, including the ‘Petrochemical Complex’ at Bina Refinery and ten new industrial projects in Madhya Pradesh.
