Kulhad Pizza couple say they are facing political pressure to settle case over alleged video of them in a compromising position

“Appeal to media and public…I don’t have the courage to give interviews and make videos again and again. Don’t destroy our image by making false statements without any proof,” Sehaj Arora wrote on Facebook and Instagram.

“We are forced to arrange this under political pressure. Statements were made against us when we denied. I have all the proof. We have no political support. We need your support to stop these videos on the internet and get justice,” he added.

Earlier this month, a video showing Sehaj Arora and his wife in a compromising position went viral. He called it ‘fake’ and filed a complaint with the police.

He had claimed that the woman who was blackmailing them had been arrested.

The couple, who recently became parents, claimed the incident was the result of an extortion bid and said the viral video was “distorted”.

Arora said his wife is suffering from “depression” and appealed for support from their followers. They had become popular for serving pizza in clay cups.

Last week, Sehaj Arora said in a video recorded outside a police station that someone had sent them the ‘fake’ video on Instagram and demanded money. He refused to pay them money, after which the video was posted on social media.

“You may have come across a video of us… it’s completely fake. The reason behind its spread is that 15 days ago we got a message on Instagram about an extortion bid along with the video….the miscreant claimed that they would make a video viral if the demand was not met….but we didn’t give in the demand and reported the incident to the police…,” Sehaj said in Punjabi.

In another video released on Friday, Arora shared what he and his wife have been through due to the controversy.
