Congress MP from Wayanad Rahul Gandhi visited Aizawl during his two-day stay in Mizoram polling station. On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi was seen riding a two-wheeler taxi in the capital Aizawl and praised the much-talked-about road discipline in the northeastern state.
When he returned from Lal Thanhawla’s residence, he was riding on the back of a two-wheeler taxi, state Congress media chairman Lalremruata Renthlei told news agency PTI.

Gandhi was on a two-day visit to Mizoram on Monday to campaign for party candidates in poll-bound Mizoram. Elections for the 40-member Mizoram Assembly will be held on November 7.
The Congress has released a list of 39 candidates for the Mizoram Assembly elections.
In the 2018 elections, the Mizo National Front won 26 seats with a vote share of 37.8 percent. The Congress won five seats and the BJP won one seat.
