West Indian all-rounder Odean Smith
The West Indies may not be without some of the big stars of yesteryear, but they still have plenty of power hitters to light up the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia. There was ample proof of that in the first T20I of their series against the reigning champions, as the Windies batters hit a total of six maximums en route to 145/9 at the Carrara Oval.
While opener Kyle Mayers kicked off the spree at the top of the order with a 103-foot six over blankets, it was the big blow Odean Smith who made cricket look like baseball as he hit a monstrous 108-meter six that flew high into the air and went far into the stands

Smith also hit three squatting boundaries to score 27 runs in just 17 balls before running out.
His innings gave the West Indian total a much-needed boost.

The Caribbean bowlers have done well as they reduced Australia to 58/5 in 7.5 overs.
Captain Aaron Finch has kept the West Indies at bay and will lead his team home in the last 10 overs along with the impressive Matthew Wade.
