The 2023 G20 Summit in New Delhi, a two-day mega conclave of world leaders under the Indian presidency, concluded successfully on Sunday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over the chairmanship of the G20 to Brazil’s Lula Da Silva, marking the end of the summit. The Prime Minister handed over the ceremonial gavel to the Brazilian President on the occasion of the handover of the presidency during the third G20 “One Future” session at the Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan in Delhi.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the “success of India’s G20 chairmanship”.
“Congratulations to Prime Minister @narendramodi ji for the success of India’s G20 chairmanship and for promoting unity among nations for a better future for the people of the world,” the superstar wrote on X.
“One earth, one family, one future, well said.” former Indian cricket team pacer Venkatesh Prasad wrote in reply to that post.

One of the biggest critics of the Indian team, Venkatesh Prasad, has not believed in mincing his words while expressing his views on cricketing matters. Having publicly criticized KL Rahul and a few other cricketers in the past, Prasad recently took a swipe at the Asian Cricket Council after the governing body announced an exceptional ‘Reserve Day’ for the Super 4 match between India and Pakistan. While Prasad’s decision to take a swipe at the Jay Shah-led ACC caught the attention of fans, a post from him on X (formerly Twitter) created an even bigger storm.
But Prasad decided to delete the message, suggesting that the message was understood in an unexpected way. But the former India pacer then decided to share the post again, this time with a few changes.
“It takes one corrupt, arrogant man to take away the hard work of an otherwise non-corrupt organization and ruin the reputation of an entire organization. The impact is not just on the micro level, but on the macro level. This is true in every area , be it’s politics, sports, journalism, business,” Prasad’s new post said.
It takes one corrupt, arrogant man to take away the hard work of an otherwise non-corrupt organization and ruin the reputation of an entire organization. The impact is not just on a micro level, but on a macro level. This applies in every field, whether it concerns politics, sports, journalism or business.

When an can have major consequences. scale implications at the macro level, but also in each area. Since I also talked about the BCCI’s inefficiency around tickets in other tweets, it led to confusion and seemed out of context. Therefore removed,” he said.
That was a general tweet where I talked about how a person who is corrupt can undo a lot of good work done by their organization and that this can also have large-scale consequences on a macro level and in every area. Prasad had also earlier criticized the BCCI over the manner in which the tickets for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup have been put on sale. Be it the selection of the Indian team, the functioning of the board or the performance of individuals, Prasad has not shyed away from sharing his critical opinions.
