Beth Mooney Took A Dive Catch To Fire Rashada Williams
Australia continued to demonstrate why they are the greatest powerhouse in women’s cricket and that too by a country mile as they secured a place in the final of the 2022I CC Women’s World Cup, beating the West Indies completely in the first semi-final. Meg Lanning’s team won by a huge margin of 157 runs. The win was secured by Australian openers Rachael Haynes (85) and Alyssa Healy (129) when Australia put 305 on the board.
Beth Mooney hit some solid punches towards the end to go unbeaten at 43. But Mooney wasn’t done yet, as she produced a spectacular bit of fielding to give Australia the perfect start in their defense of the grand total.

A double-century opening grandstand took tournament favorites Australia to an impressive 157-run victory over the West Indies on Wednesday and a place in the Women’s World Cup final. Australia dominated their rain-shortened semi-final in Wellington from the start, built around a 216-run grandstand – the highest in the tournament – between veteran openers Alyssa Healy and Rachael Haynes. An impressive score of 305 for three from a reduced 45 overs was never threatened by the West Indies, who succumbed to 148 in the 37th over.
