Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is currently absent for some time ahead of India’s entry into the Asia Cup 2023. In a video uploaded on Instagram, Bumrah was seen enjoying a game of FIFA with his wife Sanjana Ganesan. The video has left his fans elated. In the video, Bumrah wears a green T-shirt and dark blue shorts. After he scores a goal, he can be seen challenging his wife about it by asking her to clap.
To this, Sanjana could be heard saying, “What a madman”.
The video has since gone viral on social media.
“Just another day in the Bumrah household,” Bumrah captioned the video on Instagram.
The video generated a lot of interesting reactions from fans.
“Every time you stretched your back I was nervous,” one fan wrote.
“Bhai semi pro me khelo, ungli injury na ho jaaye,” another user posted.
“Bhai araam se khelo..angoothe me moch aa jayegi,” one user commented.
Bumrah’s return has been the biggest news in Indian cricket in recent times. The top pacer, once the team’s bowling spearhead, had been out for the past eleven months due to a lower back injury and subsequent rehabilitation.
However, his comeback against Ireland in the T20I series made Indian cricket fans go crazy over his return. A big test awaits him in the form of the Asia Cup and the World Cup.
However, Indian head coach Rahul Dravid hinted that Bumrah will be delayed and return to full action.
“It’s great to have them (Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna) back and see them bowl well. Jasprit is someone we’ve missed a lot in the last two years, he hasn’t played much. We’ll get him used to it slowly. Ireland was a good opportunity to put him at ease. Now we have a whole month to build that up before the World Cup. The duo’s return gives us more options in terms of pace bowling,” he said.
