Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan
Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan took to Twitter on Wednesday to share his “very bad experience” during his journey to Dubai from Mumbai by Vistara airlines. Pathan shared his experience in detail, saying that he had to wait at the counter with his wife and children for over an hour and that the “ground staff were rude”.
“Today I was traveling to Dubai from Mumbai with Vistara Flight UK-201. At the check in counter I had a very bad experience, Vistara involuntarily downgraded my ticket class which was a confirmed booking. I had to wait one and half hour at the desk for a solution.Together with me, my wife, my 8 month old actually and 5 year old kid had to go through this too.
I hope you notice and correct it @airvistara pic.twitter.com/IaR0nb74Cb

“The ground staff were rude and gave several apologies. In fact, a few passengers have had to go through the same experience. I don’t understand why they oversold the flight and how this was even approved by management? I would urge the concerned authorities to take immediate action take action against these incidents so that no one has to go through the same experience as me,” read the cricketer’s tweet.
Aakash Chopra, a former Indian cricketer and colleague of Pathan on several broadcasts, responded and said such behavior was not expected from the airline.
