Indian sailor Deepak Chahar claimed on Saturday that Malayasian Airlines lost his luggage while traveling to Dhaka from New Zealand and that he was not served food even when he flew in business class. Chahar joined the Indian squad in Bangladesh for the three-match ODI series, which begins on Sunday. “Had a worse experience traveling with Malaysia Airlines @MAS. First they changed our flight without telling us and no food in Business Class. Now we have been waiting for our luggage for 24 hours. Imagine having to play a game tomorrow ,” Chahar tweeted before the team’s practice on Saturday morning.

Chahar, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar all flew from Christchurch to Dhaka via Kuala Lumpur after completing the New Zealand ODI assignment.
Suryakumar Yadav (rested due to workload) and Umran Malik had flown back to India. However, Malik will now travel to Bangladesh after being named the injured Mohammed Shami’s replacement in the ODI team.
Malaysian Airlines sent Chahar a complaint link on Twitter, but the cricketer said it did not open.
“May be unavoidable due to operational, weather and technical reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience caused,” the airlines replied on Twitter about the flight change.
