Noman Ali claimed a hat trick in Multan Test© X (Twitter)
Pakistani Spinner Nomal Ali registered his name in the history books when he became the first spin-bowler of the country who secured a hat trick for the national team in the history of the men's test. Noman did this on day 1 of the second test against the West Indies in Multan, in which he won the Wickets of Justin Greaves, Tevin Imlach and Kevin Sinclair during three consecutive deliveries. Pakistan, who played a test match for the first time in 1952, had never seen a spinner from the country, even though he had a number of big names, who had previously won Wickets on three consecutive deliveries.
Noman put West Indies in the background when the tourists lost 7 wickets for only 38 runs after they had chosen to be the first. It was only the 12th of the inning in which Noman went on to the script history.

Pakistan opted for a spin-heavy bowling attack in the Multan test, but also made his debut for Rechtsbrukpacer Kashif Ali who replaced Khurram Shahzad.
Kashif attracted the whites for Pakistan after he had shown an impressive shape in the Interior Circuit. The 24-year-old earned his call with consistent performance in first-class cricket, including a striking swipe of five wickets for Pakistan Shaheens against Sri Lanka last November. His recording marks an important milestone in his career, since he becomes the only pacemaker in the Pakistani bowling attack for the competition. Kashif expressed his excitement prior to his debut.
Sajid Khan, Noman Ali and Abrar Ahmed, who all played a crucial role in dismantling the line-up of the West Indies in the first test, again led the management with their deception and precision.
Of the first 8 wickets that fell on day 1, Kashif had won one, Noman claimed four, Sajid Khan took two and Abrar Ahmed took one wicket for Pakistan.
