After nearly a year, India and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) all-rounder Deepak Hooda has finally opened up about his feud with Krunal Pandya. Incidentally, Hooda had claimed that Krunal Pandya was trying to take him down and also warned him that he would make sure he wouldn’t play for Baroda again. After the aftermath of that incident, Hooda left the Baroda team and joined Rajasthan to play domestic cricket. However, fate brought them together again as both players currently play for LSG in the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
After both players embraced during a match against Gujarat Titans, it appears that Hooda and Krunal have buried the hatchet and focused on giving their best for the team.
Ahead of their game against the Delhi Capitals, Hooda spoke of his comparison to Krunal, saying the latter is like his “brother”.
“Krunal Pandya is like my brother, and brothers fight. We play with one goal, which is to win matches for LSG,” Hooda told Dainik Jagran during an interaction.
“I didn’t watch the IPL auction. We met just like the other players in the team hotel. Whatever happened is in the past, and as I said, we both play for the same team and our goals are also the same,” he added.
So far, LSG has won two of their three matches in IPL 2022. They will now face DC in their next match on Thursday, April 7.
