SunRisers Hyderabad recorded their third straight win in the ongoing IPL 2022 season as Kane Williamson-led side defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets at Brabourne Stadium on Friday. Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram shone with the bat while SunRisers chased Hyderabad 176 with 13 balls left. After the match ended, Tripathi received a warm hug from KKR coach Brendon McCullum and the duo engaged in a conversation that left them both chuckling.
Tripathi was with KKR until last season and was used by the franchise as a floater. After the match against SRH was over, Tripathi received a warm hug from KKR coach McCullum.

After the game was over, Tripathi also got KKR all-rounder Andre Russell and the righthanded batter was also seen interacting with some other KKR players.

Rahul Tripathi chased 176 and hit 71 runs from just 37 balls using 4 fours and 6 sixes. He was eventually sent back to the pavilion by Andre Russell in the 15th left of the innings.
Aiden Markram went unbeaten after scoring 68 from just 36 balls using 6 fours and 4 sixes.

Previously, Nitish Rana and Andre Russell scored 54 and 49 respectively, while KKR scored 175/8 in 20 overs.
With this loss, KKR has dropped to fourth place in the points table, while SRH is seventh with six points from five games.
