Luckknow Super Giants (LSG) Scripted history on Monday, with overseas batter people from a team that crossed the 400-run marking in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season. LSG -Brewmensen achieved this record during their IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Ekana Stadium in Luckknow. Thanks to their versions this month, LSG's openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram and explosive batter Nicholas Pooran completed their 400 points this season. For the first time, three overseas players of a franchise have completed 400 points in a season.
Marsh started scoring 65 in just 39 balls, with six four and four sixes. His runs came with a success rate of 166.67. He set up a 115-run position with Markram, which also made 61 in 38 balls, with four borders and four sixes. His runs came with a success rate of 160.53.
Marsh is the 10th highest Run-Getter this season, with 443 runs in 11 innings on an average of 40.27 and a success rate of more than 157. He has fifty, with the best score of 81.
Markram is the 12th highest Run-Getter this season, with 409 runs in 12 innings on an average of 34.08, with a success rate of 148.72. He scored fifty, with the best score of 66.
Pooran, who played a good hand of 45 in 26 balls, with six four and a six with a success rate of 173.08, is the best Run-Getter in the team. He is the ninth highest Run-Getter with 455 runs in 12 innings on an average of 41.36, with four fifties in the tournament and the best score of 87*. His runs have received a success rate of 197.82.
When he came to the game, SRH won the Worp and chose the field first. Markram and Marsh scored half centers and placed 115 points for the first Wicket. Apart from Pooran later, any other batter could not touch the double digits when LSG finished 205/7 in their 20 overs.
Eshan Malinga (2/28) was the best bowler for SRH, with Harshal Patel, Harsh Dubey and Nitish Kumar Reddy who each received one. LSG has to defend 206 runs to keep their play -offs hope alive with the sixth victory of the season.
