The Indian cricket team returns to action on Friday with an ODI against the West Indies in Port of Spain led by Shikhar Dhawan. India enters the series after winning the ODI and T20I away series against England. India will play three ODIs and five T20Is against the West Indies. In the ODI series, senior players such as Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah are equipped for the ODI series. In their absence, senior left-handed opener Dhawan leads the team. Before the first match, the BCCI issued a special message from Dhawan.
