Sharjah Warriors announced the roster for the inaugural edition of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Cricket’s International League T20 on Friday. “We present our Warriors to the @ilt20official Super excited for the upcoming season!!”, tweeted Sharjah Warriors. England stars Moeen Ali, Dawid Malan, West Indian batter Evin Lewis and Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammed Nabi are some of the prominent players signed by the team.
On Thursday, Capri Global announced the name of their ILT20 team as ‘Sharjah Warriors’.
“Capri Global is delighted to announce the Sharjah Warriors team for @ILT20Official,” tweeted Sharjah Warriors.
In July, the Emirates Cricket Board confirmed that the inaugural International League T20 (ILT20) League will be played between the window from January 6 to February 12, 2023.
The six-team franchise-style competition is played over a 34-match schedule in the UAE’s world-class, world-class venues. The first event is scheduled between the window of January 6 and February 12, 2023.
The tournament will also provide a valuable platform for Emirates Cricket to take the development of their local talent to the next level, where players from the UAE who are currently integrated into the board’s program as well as those identified through the high-quality coaching – and selection committee teams, get the chance to train and play with some of the world’s best minds from today’s game.
