Rajasthan Royals '14-year sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi has illuminated IPL 2025 with some Swashbuckling beating. Suryavanshi announced itself by hitting a six on his very first ball in the tournament. Two games later he hit the fastest century ever by an Indian in the IPL history. Suryavanshi, however, was seen that he rubbed his eyes after he had come out at his first game, which led to speculation he might have cried. The young person has now revealed whether he was indeed crying after he stepped out.
Suryavanshi spoke with Mussen Khan after the game on Sunday between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Rajasthan Royals, Suryavanshi revealed exactly what happened.
“When did I cry? Let it explain to me. My eyes hurt a lot. When I got out, I looked at the big screen and the light hit my eyes. So I had to rub my eyes,” said Suryavanshi in a video on social media placed by RR.

“When I went out, people started asking why I was crying. I didn't cry! My eyes hurt,” said Suryavanshi.
Suryavanshi hit an excellent 20-ball 34 in his first innings for Rajasthan Royals, but showed how destructive he can be with a beautiful 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans (GT). As a result, he also became the youngest player ever to hit a hundred in IPL history.
The rise of Suryavanshi has been one of the few positives for RR in a different disastrous campaign. After he finished third in IPL 2025, RR lost 10 of their 13 games, making them second from below in the rankings.
On Sunday Suryavanshi again showed his incredible talent with a Swashbuckling knock of 40 discount only 15 balls. The young person scored all his runs from borders, set four borders and four sixes and set up an opening partner of 76 under five overs with Yashasvi Jaiswal.
The efforts of Suryavanshi, however, went in vain when Rajasthan Royals crumbled in another Run travels and shot in a short time with 10 points.
