Dutch national team coach Ryan Campbell has been in critical condition in a British hospital for almost a week after suffering a heart attack. According to ESPNcricinfo, Campbell’s family released a statement on Friday updating his condition after the former Australian wicketkeeper batter suffered a heart attack in Stoke-on-Trent last Saturday. “Ryan suffered a series of cardiac arrests over the weekend and remains in critical condition at the Royal Stoke University Hospital in the United Kingdom, where he is being closely monitored 24 hours a day,” the family statement said.

Campbell was appointed as the national coach of the Netherlands in January 2017.
