SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face Mumbai Indians (MI) in Match 65 of the ongoing Indian Premier League at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday. SRH is still in the running for the playoffs and currently sits eighth in the IPL 2022 points table with 10 points from 12 games, including five wins and seven defeats. In a five-game loss streak, the team led by Kane Williamson will also try to make a comeback and make a late push for the playoffs.
Here’s how SRH can stack up against MI:
Abhishek Sharma: The opener played a good knockout of 43 runs off 28 balls in SRH’s previous match. He will seek more support from his opening partner.
Kane Williamson: The SRH captain has not shown any form with the bat this season. He will be looking for a good knockout and help his side put on a strong fight for the playoffs.
Rahul Tripathi: Rahul Tripathi is his team’s third highest points scorer this season with 317 runs in 12 matches. He will aim for a big score in the remaining games.
Aiden Markram: The batter has been brilliant for SRH this year, registering 358 runs in 12 games for the franchise.
Nicholas Pooran: The West Indian cricketer has been unreliable for SRH this season and he will try to get back into shape. The wicketkeeper batter did not perform well in crucial situations and could only collect two runs off three balls in the previous game of his match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Washington Sundar: Washington Sundar has not been his usual self this season. Against KKR, he was fired after registering four runs off nine balls. He also proved expensive at bowling, allowing 40 runs in four overs and failing to take a single wicket.
Shashank Singh: Shashank Singh will try to contribute more with the bat in SRH’s remaining league matches.
Marco Jansen: Marco Jansen has failed to show his full potential in IPL 2022, taking just seven wickets in eight games this season.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar: SRH’s spearhead in pace, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will try to add more wickets to his tally this season. He has taken 11 wickets in 12 matches.
