Casper Ruud, third seeded and second at the French Open, was eliminated in the second round at Wimbledon on Wednesday and lost in four sets to Ugo Humbert from France.
Ruud, who rose to become the first Norwegian player since 1962 to reach the last 32 at Wimbledon, lost 3-6, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4.
Humbert, in 11th place, had never won a game at the All England Club this week. He will compete against Belgian David Goffin for a place in the last 16.
