Celebrating unique goals after scoring screamers has become quite a popular and signature move for many professional football players. The excitement of celebrating with or in front of a huge crowd makes players do unthinkable things. Something similar recently happened in a match between Wrexham AFC and Stockport County in the FA Trophy in England, when a late stoppage time blast from Paul Mullin, a lob over the goalkeeper, left fans and team-mates confused. Mullin’s teammate Ollie Palmer eventually kissed him on the lips.
This impassioned moment between two professional players, initiated by Palmer, was shared and praised by Wrexham’s official Instagram handle with a caption that said:
“We all felt the love for @paulmullin12 after that first goal yesterday!.”
Mullin’s 91st-minute goal was not the only goal of the game. After Mullin gave Wrexham a 1-0 lead, he came back on the scoresheet four minutes later to give Ryan Reynolds’ team a 2-0 victory.

Fans at The Racecourse Ground went crazy as they chanted slogans and lifted banners to celebrate their qualification for the final.
The win also ended Stockport’s unbeaten run of 21 games and brought Wrexham into the final scheduled for at Wembley Stadium.
