Amazon Kindle (11th generation) and Amazon Kindle Kids (2nd generation) launched on Tuesday as the company’s newest ebook readers. The latest entry-level Amazon Kindle has a 6-inch backlit screen with a resolution of 300 ppi and is claimed to have a battery life of up to six weeks. It is equipped with a USB Type-C port and comes with 16 GB of built-in storage. The Amazon Kindle Kids ebook reader features the Seame specifications and comes with an annual Amazon Kids+ subscription.

The newly launched Amazon Kindle (11th generation) price is set at $99.99 (approximately Rs. 7,900) and will be available in Black or Denim color options, along with Black, Dark Emerald and Denim, Rose fabris covers.
Meanwhile, the Amazon Kindle Kids (2nd generation) costs $119.99 (about Rs. 9,500). Both models will be available for purchase in Ocean Explorer, Space Whale and Unicorn Valley cover designs.
Both the Amazon Kindle (11th generation) and Amazon Kindle Kids (2nd generation) are available for pre-order in the US starting today and will go on sale October 12, according to Amazon.

They come equipped with a USB Type-C port, meaning this is the last Amazon Kindle model to drop the Micro-USB port. The Amazon Kindle Kids (2nd generation) also comes with a subscription to the Amazon Kids+ service with access to kid-friendly content.
