Meta’s Director and Head of Partnerships in India, Manish Chopra, has announced his resignation from the company in a LinkedIn post. Chopra joined Meta in 2019 and served as director and head of partnerships in India.
The director and Head of Partnerships posted a notice of his resignation on Tuesday. He also said he would help with the transition in the coming weeks.
Chopra posted on LinkedIn: “I’m grateful to the company for trusting me as we continue our efforts to drive growth and engagement on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. I’m super proud of the work the team and I have done to build a to become an ally for makers and companies across the country. My heartfelt thanks to all of you!”
Manish Chopra, Director of Meta and Head of Partnerships in India, joined the company in January 2019.
He posted on the social media site, “It’s been 4.5 years of an incredible journey leading Meta Partnerships in India! I’m resigning from Meta and will be helping with the transition in the coming weeks.”
Speaking of the ongoing layoffs in the tech world and in the company itself, he said, “The past few months have been tough times for everyone in so many ways. I know this team has shown so much care and selflessly helped each other. tried my hardest, I’ve seen people embody ‘what would you do if you weren’t afraid’, beyond our wildest dreams.”
Of his new venture, he said, “I’ll be sharing more in due course.”
