Telecom giants in India are offering ‘Unlimited Data’ plans. However, there is a catch. Airtel, Jio, Vi and other telecom operators have multiple prepaid charging plans in which their customers can get huge amounts of data to spend per day. They also offer such data services to postpaid customers. However, there is a limit and after that limit the speed will be reduced to a very low level under the service providers’ Fair Usage Policy (FUP). It can be frustrating to access the internet from a phone at a slow speed.
Here in this article, we have listed some ways that you can monitor the usage of your data on your Android phone. Meanwhile, you can also check out the charging plans offered by your network operator.

Some apps use more data to load. Fortunately, a few of them have a lighter version, such as Facebook Lite or Instagram Lite, which don’t require a fast internet connection to load. They allow users to perform basic functions, but they do not have all the functions like the original version. If necessary, you can explore such lighter apps to save data.
