Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, Sniper Elite 5, Dolmen, and Evil Dead: The Game will be released in May, alongside several other titles across genres arriving in time for the summer break. Fans of tactical RPGs can get ready for Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, a reboot of the original 1998 title. Co-op enthusiasts can try out We Were Here Forever, the fourth title in the hit series that features walkie-talkie communication with a friend while gamers solve puzzles together to escape from confinement in a castle – or take on the role of the Marked Inquisitor as they hunt powerful Mages in the Souls-esque RPG Salt and Sacrifice.

Fans of side-scrolling action-adventure titles can help Samurai Hiroki take out his enemies with Trek to Yomi, while Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising – a prequel to the upcoming Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes – will see gamers battle and scavenge for materials to build a city ​​after disaster strikes. Sniper Elite 5 also comes out in May, featuring a campaign, drop-in PvP and co-op mode – plus an eerie ‘Enhanced Kill Cam’.

In addition to the titles in the list below, don’t forget to check out Wildcat, Line War, Citizen Sleeper, Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit, Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia, and Touken Ranbu Warriors. Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters

Twenty-five years after the previous title was released, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate is making a comeback. The turn-based tactical RPG is set in the 41st millennium, with the galaxy under threat from the Bloom, an intergalactic scourge of cosmic proportions that can rot entire worlds. In Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, who controls the mighty Gray Knights, elite warriors considered humanity’s greatest weapon, you must try to stop a plot to infect the galaxy with plague.

The game will put your strategy-making skills to the test – as you research and engage in combat, plague will strike planets across the galaxy. You can customize your Gray Knights be it armor, voices or faces. Gameplay includes both melee and remote attacks, which is enhanced by the Precision Targeting system, which is claimed to provide unerring accuracy. The game allows you to manipulate the environment around you as you fight to thwart the Nurgle’s even plans in this upcoming gothic science fiction title.

In the upcoming side-scrolling action-adventure game from Devolver Digital, you step into the shoes of young Samurai Hiroki and walk the path of revenge as he chases the enemies who have destroyed his home. Trek to Yomi is all black and white, similar to the popular title Limbo. The developers Shadow Warrior and Flying Wild Hog showed a trailer for the upcoming title at E3 2021, including several gameplay features.

The game is expected to have a cinematic style and design, with free exploration and fixed-camera side-scrolling combat. Spending your time exploring the game in search of hidden areas will give you access to upgrades to Hiroki’s health and stamina, along with bonus weapons and tools. Once you’ve completed the game, you can choose to play an extremely challenging one-hit mode, which causes Hiroki to die the moment he gets hit.

We were here forever

This indie title is a cooperative first-person adventure with many puzzles that you have to solve together with a second player. You have a walkie-talkie to talk to your partner as you can’t see each other so you can take on the challenges together. The fourth game in the we were here series that debuted in 2017, We Were Here Forever will feature new areas, puzzles, and an improved interface and gameplay.

Back in the dungeons of Castle Rock, you and your fellow inmate (your partner) will have to find a way to escape by solving various puzzles to get out. Once you’ve escaped the Keep, you and your partner will have to enter different areas such as Rockbury, the Graveyard, and the Foundry. You don’t have to play any of the previous titles, even though the stories are connected. Your ability to work with your partner will decide whether you survive and escape.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a Japanese action RPG that promises plenty of swordplay and exploration, acting as a prequel to the upcoming Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes which debuts in 2023. You’ll need to “scavenge dungeons” and earn materials as you work to rebuild New Naveah to its former glory – yes, this JRPG comes with city-upgrading mechanics, in addition to fast-paced combat. The game features characters including acting mayor Isha, the scavenger JB and the mercenary Garoo.

While playing Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, you will explore ancient ruins as you discover a city struggling to rebuild after a massive earthquake. You’ll have to uncover the secret hidden in the nearby Runebarrows, uncovering a dark conspiracy as you progress through the game. Finally, decisions you make while playing the game will also affect the main story of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, according to the game’s official description on Steam.

Salt and Sacrifice

This Souls-esque dark fantasy RPG throws you into a once-peaceful kingdom ravaged by mighty mages. You play as a Marked Inquisitor, a condemned warrior who has awakened to hunt these Mages who infest this world. Taking down these enemies will earn you drops that can be used to craft weapons and armor. The Mages are not your only opponents in this labyrinthine world of Salt and Sacrifice, you will also encounter scavengers, secrets, traps and powerful guards.

The game also includes a full online co-op mode and a drop-in quick online co-op mode. You can also challenge other players online in PvP mode.

source of madness

The Loam Lands is a degenerate Lovecraftian-inspired world that serves as the backdrop for the Source of Madness. The developer has used an art style with artificial intelligence to beautify the world. It’s a 2D side-scrolling roguelike that lets you control an acolyte while uncovering the mysteries of these lands and The Tower of Madness.

The game will pit you against procedurally generated monsters that are animated via neural network AI. Therefore, each enemy you encounter will present a unique challenge. You take on these monsters with your close combat magic. There will be an extensive skill tree to boost your attack by unlocking skills, classes and spells.

The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story

Where: PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch

Haruka Kagami is a budding mystery writer who visits the Shijima family and finds herself unraveling the mystery of a series of unexplained murders over the past century. You control Kagami on the hunt for clues in three different time periods: 1922, 1972 and 2022. The murder cases are divided into three parts: the incident phase, the reasoning phase and the solution phase.

The story of The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story is driven by beautifully shot live-action scenes directed by Koichiro Ito with cinematographer Yasuhito Tachibana. The characters are voiced in Japanese with subtitles in English, French, Italy, German and more. The game is being developed and published by Square Enix, known for Final Fantasy.

Evil Dead: the game

Inspired by the Evil Dead movie franchise and the Ash vs Evil Dead television series, Evil Dead: The Game brings you over-the-top survival horror action. You will be able to put yourself in the shoes of iconic characters such as Ash, Scotty, Lord Arthur, Kelly Maxwell and more. The game will also come with maps based on locations from Evil Dead, including the infamous cabin in the woods.

Evil Dead: The Game has a single player mode and an online co-op mode for four players. There will also be a PvP mode where one of the players takes control of the Kandarian Demon to hunt other players.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong

Big Bad Wolf developed Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is a single player role-playing game that, as the name suggests, features vampires. You get to step into the shoes (if they wear them) of three vampires with different abilities.

You can switch between all of these over the course of the game. The game takes place in Boston, where the swan, Hazel Iversen, has been chosen as the new prince. You can customize the characters and upgrade their skills according to your play style.

Horror action RPG Dolmen will drop you into a very hostile alien world called Revion Prime. Your first process assignment is to bring back samples of a crystal made up of some unique properties. The crystal is known as Dolmen. These crystals enable interaction between realities and also help revolutionize space exploration.

Battles in Dolmen make your character stronger with multiple weapons – including melee and ranged – at your disposal. Characters can also activate the ‘Energy Mode’ which infuses your melee weapons with elemental status effects that allow you to take advantage of your enemy’s weakness.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker

Blackbird Interactive developed Hardspace: Shipbreaker lets you take charge of a ship wrecker who works for Lynx Corporation. The game gives you multiple gadgets such as lasercutters and tether tools to mess around with. As a player, you must rescue useful materials from abandoned starships, earning credits that you can use to pay off the huge debt you owe Lynx.

As you progress through the game, you’ll gain access to tougher contracts as well as better suits that can deal more damage, increase oxygen capacity, upgrade blades, and more. Hardspace: Shipbreaker was in the works since early 2016 and then went into Early Access. The game will be available to play on PC Game Pass from day one.

Sniper Elite 5

The latest addition in the Sniper Elite series brings you a tactical third-person sniper shooter set during World War II in France. The game offers campaign, co-op and drop-in PvP. It also introduces an ‘Enhanced Kill Cam’ that is said to be more realistic and creepy than ever.

Sniper Elite 5 also offers better physics for firefights. Gamers need to consider gun stock and barrel options, along with wind. heart rate and gravity to take a picture.

In the multiplayer mode, you can customize your character and equipment, among other things. You can earn XP and medals in competitive battles with 16 players that are sure to be chaotic.
