Apple is said to be preparing for a wave of product launches, with the long-awaited iPhone SE 4 and M4-driven MacBook Air expected to be central. According to Mark Gurman van Bloomberg, the Tech giant could already start his announcement cycle in today (12 February), with important revelations planned in the coming weeks.
Gurman suggests that Apple can make a smaller announcement today, although details remain scarce. Speculation points to an update of the Base iPad model, which means that the A18 chip may be integrated. Apple Intelligence can make this improvement possible, in accordance with the wider AI-driven strategy of the company.
In addition, Apple can roll out the first beta of iOS 18.4, with a series of Siri improvements. Expected updates include improved awareness on the screen, better understanding of personal context and more refined system controls.
Later this week Apple could reveal an important update for his Vision Pro headset. Reports indicate a possible collaboration with Sony, which can offer PlayStation VR2 controller support to improve game experiences on the Vision Pro. This partnership could also introduce PS VR2 controllers to navigating the Visionos interface, which tackles the absence of dedicated handheld checks for precision interactions. The timing coincides with the upcoming State of Play event from Sony, where further updates from PlayStation are expected.
iPhone SE 4 expects next week
The rumor is that Apple is already launching the iPhone SE of the fourth generation next week. The device is expected to take a flat frame design with a glossy glass back, reminiscent of the iPhone 14. It will probably retain the damp switch, but replace the start button with face ID within a notch. Driven by the A18 chip, the iPhone SE can have 4 8 GB RAM, making it an affordable AI-compatible option. The model is expected to contain 128 GB storage, a 48Mp reversing camera and a 12MP camera on the front.
M4 MacBook Air Income?
Allegedly, Apple is also preparing for the introduction of the M4-driven MacBook Air in the coming weeks. The updated model is expected to contain 16 GB RAM as standard, in accordance with recent upgrades in the MacBook Pro -Line -up. However, no significant design changes are expected for this year's iteration.
