The OnePlus 13R is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the same flagship processor that powers devices like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. This would be a step up from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset used in the OnePlus 12R, which was also seen in the OnePlus 11.

Another possible upgrade is the addition of an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. These scanners are generally safer and more reliable than optical scanners. The OnePlus 12R was launched in India on ₹39,999 for the base model (8GB RAM and 128GB storage). The OnePlus 13R could therefore cost between €10 ₹40,000 and ₹50,000, depending on the variant, but a price increase is of course never excluded.
