Poco is said to be preparing to reveal its long-awaited F7 series later this month in selected world markets. According to Tipster TechXpert (@TX_Tech_Xpert), the company will hold a launch event on 27 March, where the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 will be expected to introduce Ultra models. Another well -known tip star, Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), has also confirmed this claim.
It is assumed that the upcoming models share specifications with Redmi K80 and K80 Pro from Xiaomi, who made his debut in China in November 2024. However, reports suggest that these high-end variants may not arrive in India quickly.
Poco F7 Pro & Ultra: expected specifications
The Poco F7 Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, in combination with 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM. The handset probably works on Android 15 with Hyperos 2.0 and offers NFC connectivity. It is expected to have a 6.67-inch OLED display with a QHD+ (1,440 x 3,200 pixels) resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition, the phone can accommodate a 50MP camera system with double back and a battery of 5,830 mAh with 90 W wired quickly charging support.
In the meantime, the Poco F7 Ultra, which was recently seen on the Geekbench AI platform with the model number Xiaomi 24122RKC7G, is tipped to be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Soc. The device is expected to offer up to 16 GB RAM and be equipped with the Hyperos 2.0 skin on Android 15. In terms of camera, it can have a 50MP triple back, including a telephone lens. The handset can be a 6000 mAh battery with 120 W wired and 50 W wireless charging support.
