Realme has been tipped to work on periscope lenses. It is said that the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 series is likely to feature the periscope zoom feature, which is apparently gaining popularity. The iPhone 15 Pro Max was also recently released with a periscope telephoto lens with support for 5x optical zoom. Now, a tipster claims that the Realme 12 Pro+, which is expected to succeed the Realme 11 Pro+, will support periscope lenses similar to the Oppo Find X6. The Realme 11 Pro+ was launched in May and made its debut in India a month later. Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X6 series was launched in China in March.
Tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) shared on a Weibo post that the alleged Realme 12 Pro+ handset is likely to feature three rear camera units with one periscope lens. The model is said to have a circular camera module on the rear. The report added that the camera is expected to be similar to the one on the Oppo Find X6. According to the leak, the Realme 12 Pro+ is also expected to launch with popular designs and features.
