Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome offering at the 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM). One of the major announcements revolved around the company’s ambitious vision of “AI Everywhere For Everyone” through Connected Intelligence.
Ambani unveiled the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome offer, which aims to give Jio users access to cloud storage solutions. “Today, I am announcing that Jio users will get up to 100GB of free cloud storage to securely store and access all their photos, videos, documents, and all other digital content and data,” the Reliance chairman said at the AGM.
He stressed that this offering is not just about offering free storage, but also about making advanced AI-driven services accessible to a wider audience. “We will also have the most affordable prices in the market for those who need even more storage,” Ambani added, signaling Jio’s intention to disrupt the cloud storage market with competitive pricing.
