Performance and processor

The V40 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and delivers solid performance for daily tasks. The Mali-G615 MC2 GPU offers decent images, but the telephone priority gives sustainability to raw power.

Game performance is mixed. Call of Duty: Mobile runs effortlessly on the highest graphic settings, but Asphalt Series -games with 60 fps show occasional frame drops. Camera performance

The camera system of the V40 Pro is led by an impressive 200 MP wide camera that takes sharp, detailed photos in good lighting conditions. 4K video in daylight at 30 fps has a considerable stabilization, but struggles with images in low light. Night mode and portrait recordings are well executed and video recording at 4K resolution is supported, although expected some slight shaky without gimbal due to the lack of optical stabilization. The 32 MP camera on the front delivers fresh selfies, with considerable achievements in low light conditions.

With Android 14, the V40 Pro offers a clean, user -friendly interface with minimal bloatware. The adjustments to Doogee are usually useful functions without alleviating the experience. There is nothing groundbreaking here, but the user interface of the phone is simple, responsive and suitable for users who appreciate an easy to navigate installation.

Although Doogee has not specified an exact update time lines, they are generally good at offering security patches and OS updates for their robust phones. Expect a solid 2-3 year software support.

Connectivity and network performance
