The Tivoli Audio Revive is one of those products that doesn't fit neatly into one category; it's a Bluetooth speaker, a wireless charger and a lamp, all in one stylish design. Part of Tivoli Audio's Art line, it is built to complement spaces with a touch of elegance and combines perfectly with wooden decor, whether on a desk or on a bedside table. But if you spend money ₹21,990, you expect more than just aesthetics. To see if it lives up to its price tag, we put it to the test. Here's our in-depth review with the pros and cons so you can decide if it's really worth the investment.

Tivoli Audio Revive Specifications

Lamp2.5 Watts (25 W equivalent)
GatesA USB port, AUX port and cylinder plug for power

Unpacking Tivoli Audio Revive

The Revive comes in a large box with a premium unboxing experience. It is securely packaged with enough packing materials to keep it safe during shipping. Besides the speaker itself, you only get a power adapter and a user manual. The power adapter comes with multiple international plug attachments so you can choose the one that suits your country's standards.

Tivoli Audio Revive design

The Revive offers are well designed, except for one small thing that I'll get to in a moment. It looks like a wooden plank with a wooden cube on the first half and the other half is empty. This wooden cube functions as both a Bluetooth speaker and a lamp. One side of this cube has a mesh for the speaker and the top has the lamp. This cube rotates approximately 15 degrees on each side, so the sound can be turned in your direction.

The other half of the Revive is a wireless charger with a capacitive touch button to control the lamp. The buttons to operate the speaker are located directly below the speaker module. On the front you'll see the Tivoli Audio branding and on the right side there's a USB port for charging more gadgets. At the rear is the cylinder plug that powers the entire package.

Overall, I loved the design of the Tivoli Audio Revive and the best part is that it is made of real wood. It weighs just over a kilo and the rubber feet make it stable on any surface. Revive is available in three colours; Black, white and gray, I have the black version but if you ask me the white color looks fantastic.

One design flaw I should point out is the placement of the touch-sensitive key on the indicator light. It's right next to the wireless charger and every time I try to charge my phone I accidentally turn on the light. And it happens quite often, so I recommend Tivoli Audio to put the capacitive touch key directly on the lamp itself. This allows you to turn on the lamp easily and without any confusion.

Tivoli Audio Revive: Wireless charger

The first and most important part of the Revive is the wireless charger. This is a Qi standard supported charger, which means that any smartphone can be charged on this wireless charger. Unfortunately, it's only a 5W charger, which means it will take a lot of time to charge your phone. During my testing, my smartphone with a 4000 mAh battery took about 3 to 4 hours to fully charge.

One thing that really annoyed me about this wireless charger is that the wireless charging section has a marker to show you the exact position of the wireless charger. But that mark is not easily visible on the black color I have. Two things I really wanted on Revive are a standing wireless charger option and a fast-charging USB port (18W or more) on the side.

Tivoli Audio Revive: Bluetooth speaker

The Bluetooth speaker on Revive is cube-shaped and is attached to a cylinder with four buttons to control the speaker. The audio direction can be adjusted by rotating the speaker 15 degrees on either side. It would have been better if the speaker could be rotated further. There is a fabric mesh on the speaker that looks and feels premium.

The speaker is not very powerful and therefore cannot be super loud, but the sound quality is good enough to enjoy any type of music. The Tivoli Audio Revive also comes with a 3.5mm port, so you can easily play your music via an aux cable. Overall, the sound quality of the Bluetooth speaker is good enough for listening to music in the morning.

Tivoli Audio Revive: Lamp

Tivoli Audio Revive comes with a lamp on top of the speaker section. This lamp is single-colored and has a warm tint, making it ideal as a bedside lamp. It has four brightness levels that can be controlled via a reactive touch key. However, the placement of this button comes with a minor inconvenience; It's located right next to the wireless charging pad, and its touch-capacitive design makes it easy to accidentally turn the light on or off when you're charging a phone.

Tivoli Audio Revive pros and cons

Reasons to buyReasons to avoid
A beautiful design and solid build qualityDuration
Take three gadgets in oneThe sound quality of the speakers could have been better
Lamp with multiple brightness levels
Additional USB port for charging

Tivoli Audio Revive final verdict

The Tivoli Audio Revive is a unique offering with its sleek design and multi-functionality, combining three gadgets into one. For ₹21,990, you could easily buy a separate Bluetooth speaker, wireless charger and lamp, potentially saving you some money. However, managing three separate devices on a desk can create clutter and require more effort. Therefore, I would only recommend the Revive if you are looking for a product that will simplify your installation and also fit seamlessly into your interior while being practical.
