Vivo is preparing to introduce the VIVO V50 in India on 17 February as the successor to VIVO V40 last year. The upcoming Mid-Range Premium-Smartphone is expected to be competing competitors such as the OnePlus 12R and IQOO NEO 9 Pro in the sub- £40,000 segment.
Prior to the official launch, the pre-reservation details of the device have surfaced online. According to Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, customers can book the VIVO V50 in advance from 16 February. Promotional material also suggests that those who reserve the handset in advance are eligible for an extended one-year-old warranty and a one-year screen damage protection plan (V-Schiad) at a discount price.
Expected specifications and functions
Reports indicate that the VIVO V50 will retain various important characteristics of its predecessor, the VIVO V40. The device is probably powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 -Processor and offers improved performance. In terms of Optica, the handset is tipped for a double reversing system with two 50MP sensors. For selfies, a camera on the front of 50 MP is also expected. The design is expected to be comparable to the V40 series.
One of the most striking upgrades is in the battery capacity. It is rumor that the VIVO V50 packs a larger 6000 mAh battery, an increase in the 5,500 mAh unit that is seen on the previous model. It is expected that loading options will also improve, with support for 90W fast charging, higher than the 80W on its predecessor. In addition, the handset is speculated with both IP68 and IP69 reviews, which improves the resistance to dust and water. This sustainability level is generally seen in high -quality flagship machines.
Price companies
Tipster Abhishek Yadav has suggested that the VIVO V50 could launch at a starting price of £37,999. However, he remains skeptical about the accuracy of this figure, and only confirms that the prices will remain underneath £40,000. For context, the VIVO V40 debuted in India at £34,999, which implies a possible £3,000 price increase for the new model.
