Nitin Gadkari and Bhagwant Mann inaugurated the flag
New Delhi:
India today got its highest national flag at the Attari-Wagah border. The 130 meter high flag is 5.5 meters larger than that of Pakistan.
The flag, installed by the National Highway Authority of India, was inaugurated in Amritsar today by Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

The Pakistani flag, Parcham-e-Sitarah-o-Hilalwas installed on the side of the border in August.
The flag cost the NHAI a whopping Rs 3.5 crore and is 57 feet taller than the second on the list of tallest national flags in India. The tricolor in Karnataka’s Belagavi was the record holder earlier.
