Mumbai:
The opposition India Bloc, which is confronted with an existential crisis after the route of the AAM Aadmi party of Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi, now witnesses an approaching row in Maharashtra. Sharad Pawar, the experienced leader of Maharashtra -Maha Vikas Aghadi and seen as the glue of the Alliance, has greatly disrupted Ally Shiv Sena.
Mr. Pawar has awarded a prize – the Mahadji Shindtra Gaurav Puraskar – in a position about Deputy Prime Minister Eknath Shinde, who played an important role in splitting the Sena and the government of Mr Thakkeray pulled down.
On Tuesday, Mr. Shinde received the prize from Mr Pawar on the occasion of the 98th Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in Delhi. In his subsequent speech, he shared that he has good relationships with Mr Pawar.
The Sena is now on the war path.
Senior Sena leader Sanjay Raut, who expressed his displeasure, said he did not expect Pawar to participate in the position and extend a prize to Mr. Shinde.
How can a “backstabber” who have betrayed Shiv Sena and the party broke by a senior leader like Mr. Pawar, he said. He called the event a “political meeting of real estate agents,” said: “Such prizes given to political leaders are bought or sold”.
The Shaina NC of the BJP taunts Mr. Raut and said that he “lost his mental balance”.
“That is why he will never get a prize, there is an objection to the Rashtra Gaurav Award. One must be happy and proud that the Awardee of the Marathi community is,” she said.
Mr Pawar has taken routine headlines and speculated about Switch in Sides with his unexpected movements and his political past.
The last time this had happened, was when he begged the work of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh somewhere after the routing of the opposition in the election of the meeting.
