The Pakistan cricket team was upset by India in the Cricket World Cup 2023 match last Saturday as Rohit Sharma’s men registered a comprehensive 7-wicket win. Although Pakistan have only lost one of their three matches in the World Cup so far, many questions have been raised about their ability to make the most of the tournament. While Pakistan now needs to at least qualify for the semi-finals to face India again, a Pakistani actress hopes Bangladesh will avenge their defeat when they take on India on Thursday.
The actress, named Sehar Shinwari, said on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that she promised to go on a date with a Bangladesh cricketer if they manage to beat India in the World Cup match.
“InshAllah, my Bangali Bandu will avenge us in the next match. I will go to Dhaka and have a fish dinner with a Bangali boy if their team manages to beat India,” Sehar wrote on X.

In the field of cricket, the Pakistan Cricket Board has lodged a formal protest with the International Cricket Council (ICC) on several issues. The PCB announced the same on social media on Tuesday.
“The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has once again lodged a formal protest with the ICC over delays in visas for Pakistani journalists and the absence of a visa policy for Pakistani fans for the ongoing 2023 World Cup. The PCB has also filed a complaint alleging inappropriate conduct targeting against the Pakistan team during the India-Pakistan match on October 14, 2023,” the PCB tweeted.
As for Pakistan’s on-field assignments, Babar Azam’s men will next take on Australia, a side who have won just one of their first three matches. While Pakistan will be eager to return to winning ways, the Aussies will be eager to embark on an unbeaten run.
