Exit Poll Results 2024 Live Updates: After high-octane campaigns and elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, it is now time to find out what the exit polls have predicted for the states. The results for both states will be announced on November 23.

Voting for the one-phase Maharashtra elections in 288 constituencies began at 7 am and ended at 6 pm. The battle is between the ruling Mahayuti alliance – BJP, Shiv Sena and the NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) – Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction).
In the 2019 elections, the BJP won the maximum number of seats (105), followed by Shiv Sena (56) and Congress (44).
Jharkhand is voting in the second and final phase of assembly elections. The first phase took place on November 13. The main battle in the state is between the ruling JMM-led INDIA bloc and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Congress leader TS Singh Deo today criticized the BJP over party leader Vinod Tawde's alleged money distribution video. This comes even as the BJP has targeted Maharashtra opposition leaders Supriya Sule and Nana Patole for their alleged involvement in 'bitcoin scam'.

A presiding officer in Madhupur in Jharkhand's Deoghar district was replaced after he was found too close to the polling booth in violation of Election Commission rules. the Deoghar government said.
The statement came after Jharkhand BJP MP Nishikant Dubey accused chairman Ramanand Kumar Paswan of “favoring a ruling party candidate”.

BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari has alleged that the leaders of the opposition alliance in Maharashtra have tried to “use the looted money of Rs 100 crore in the elections through bitcoin transactions”.
The Jharkhand voting percentage till 5 pm for the second phase – 67.59 per cent – was much higher than the first phase (66.65 per cent).
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan was seen along with family – wife Gauri Khan, daughter Suhana Khan and son Aryan Khan – at a polling station to cast their votes.

Several octogenarians and two centenarians, a 113-year-old woman and a 103-year-old man, cast their votes in the Maharashtra Assembly elections.
The 103-year-old man, a freedom fighter, came in a wheelchair to exercise his right.
To ensure a smooth voting process, facilities such as wheelchairs, wheelchair-friendly vans, Divyang-friendly buses, stair-climbing wheelchairs, etc. were made available at the polling booths by the Election Commission.
A touch of glamor was added to the election day in Mumbai today as several Bollywood celebrities, including actors Salman Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Akhay Kumar, Ananya Panday and Ranbir Kapoor, cast their votes.
“Everyone should come and vote because that is the most important thing,” said Rajkumar Rao.
“Let's forget the problems and right now it's voting day and it's your birthright so please come and cast your vote,” was Ranbir Kapoor's message.
2024 exit poll: Rajya Sabha MP confident of NDA victory
Rashtriya Lok Morcha president and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha said the NDA has scored victories in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand. The INDIA bloc is in power in Jharkhand, while Maharashtra currently has an NDA government.

Congress leader and opposition leader in Rajasthan Tika Ram Jully has expressed confidence that his party will win in both the states and that the “INDIA alliance will form the government”.
Actor Govinda said, “Everything is fine,” when asked about his recovery. The Bollywood actor had accidentally shot himself in the leg last month.
He was seen outside a polling booth where he came to cast his vote.

Congress leader Sachin Pilot has criticized the BJP over reports that party general secretary Vinod Tawde was allegedly distributing voters to influence voters in Palghar district of Maharashtra. “When such incidents come to light, the Election Commission of India (ECI) must take immediate and strict action. A leader of such stature accused of carrying such a large amount of money for election manipulation is alarming. An investigation alone is insufficient,” he said.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot expressed confidence that the JMM-Congress alliance in Jharkhand will defeat the rival party.

Mumbai BJP president and candidate from Bandra West constituency Ashish Selar slammed the opposition over the alleged bitcoin scam and called for a sustained investigation into it. “These thieves will not be able to escape… he (ex-IPS officer Ravindranath Patil) clearly says in his statement what Gaurav Mehta told him, what voice recordings he gave… those people, whose names are forthcoming, I think this is a very complicated issue.
