From tomorrow, pollution in Delhi will be further reduced as air quality becomes 'severe+'

With air quality in Delhi plummeting to 'severe+' for the first time this season, the Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) on Sunday decided to invoke phase IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), which will come into effect from 8 a.m. steps. on Monday.

“Delhi's AQI was recorded at 441 (Severe) at 4:00 PM today and has gradually increased further and has already reached the Severe+ category as the AQI clocked 447, 452 and 457 at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM respectively ” said CAQM, the Centre's panel on air quality in Delhi-NCR.
