Ganesh Chaturthi is a perfect occasion where you need to dress appropriately. It includes not only keeping up with the traditions but also dressing up to dazzle the family celebrations. As the 10-day festival kicked off today, our favorite celebrities painted the B-town in festive colours. While many celebrities were captured bringing Bappa home with great pomp and ceremony, others shared photos of their intimate celebrations on social media. From Kartik Aaryan to Sara Ali Khan, the Bollywood stars went for safe and classic bets as they stepped out in eye-catching ethnic wear. Starting with Ananya Panday. The Dream Girl 2 actress wore a beautiful pink anarkali, adorned with beautiful floral prints. The sleeveless ensemble featured pastel blue trim around the neckline. The pink and blue pastel shades echoed in her matching dupatta. Ananya’s hair was elegantly styled in a bun. She opted for a no-makeup makeup look. From the accessories department, Ananya wore pearl earrings.
Sara Ali Khan shifted our attention from one young star to another and radiated vibrancy in a bright yellow kurta set. The flared sleeves of her kurta featured vibrant embroidery along the edges. She paired the kurta with matching trousers and wore a lightweight dupatta, gracefully draped over her shoulders. Sara left her hair open in a middle parting.
Shilpa Shetty, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Sukhee, embraced the traditional spirit in an elegant saree. Her pre-draped white sheet was beautifully accented with orange and yellow tassels along the edges. Underneath she wore an embroidered blouse. Shilpa adorned herself with traditional jewelry, and her makeup was perfect with a dewy base, glossy lips, mascara-covered lashes, and kohl-rimmed eyes.
Bollywood’s heartthrob Kartik Aaryan also visited Lal Baughcha Raja. His clothes were a perfect blend of simplicity and style. The actor opted for a classic red button-up kurta, which was balanced with white bottoms.
B-town power couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani took the ethnic route as they attended the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Manish Malhotra’s residence. While the actor donned a white kurta and pajama, Kiara wore a garara set.
Malaika Arora channeled her inner diva and opted for a spicy combo set. The two-piece set consisted of a V-neck kaftan on top of a matching skirt. The B-Town fashionista let her hair down and accessorized her look with oxidized jewelry.
Draped in a beautiful silk mint green saree, Pooja Hegde styled her six yards with a sleeveless strappy blouse. The actress created a beautiful contrast by pairing her drape with an off-white strappy blouse. A low bun with a center parting and gold jhumkas were the finishing touch.
Just a few festive looks from today’s celebration. Which are your favorites?
