New Delhi:
Heavy passenger acconging due to delay in the departure of several trains led chaos on Sunday at the New Delhi train station, but there was “no rush” or “stormy” situation, said railway officers.
According to the police, no injury was reported. However, there was an extra crowds on platform numbers 12 and 13 due to the delay of a few trains.
Senior officials such as Senior Commander RPF and Statio Director NDLS are present at the station for Better Management, said a high railroad officer.
There was a heavy bustle, but not a rush or rush -like situation at NDLS, the railway officer said, adding that the protocol of taking incredibly passengers is used by the storage area.
Now a few trains have left and the situation is under control, the police said.
Passengers were seen to scale the barricades and jump the queue.
The Delhi police have implemented crowd of management measures to prevent an unwanted incident, they said.
