The hood and bumper of the vehicle were shattered.
A horse died after a speeding car rammed into the cart on the Delhi-Saharanpur highway in Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place around 9am today and at least six people were injured.
The accident was captured on CCTV footage, which showed the car speeding in the left lane of the highway. Meanwhile, a horse buggy approaches the highway from the left.
As the animal approached the highway, the car rammed the horse and threw it several feet away. The horse died in the accident.
The vehicle's hood and bumper were crushed and the car skidded off the road before crashing into a truck several meters away.
The occupants of the cart were injured and are being treated. No report has yet been filed with the police following the incident.
