India vs Australia 5th Test Day 3 Live Updates: Ravindra Jadeja became India's first casualty of the day with Australian skipper Pat Cummins dismissing him on Day 3 of the 5th Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Surprisingly, it was Mohammed Siraj who came to bat at ninth ahead of Jasprit Bumrah, who suffered back spasms on day two and even had to visit a hospital in Sydney. Scott Boland has been the king of India's innings, taking four wickets so far. It was Rishabh Pant's 61 off 33 on Day 2 that kept India in the hunt after their pacers did a commendable job in bowling out Australia for 181. India had scored 185 runs in their first innings. India vs Australia 5th Test, Day 3 Live: Maiden Over From Boland
Jasprit Bumrah is filling up in the Indian dressing room, which means he would get to bat. However, there is no official information yet about his fitness regarding bowling. The seam movement on the field from Day 3 at SCG is still too much for the batters to feel comfortable. Scott Boland completes an almost unplayable transfer to Washington Sundar.

India vs Australia 5th Test, Day 3 Live: Boland tests Siraj, injured Bumrah demoted
Sharpened, but the ball lands just in front of the second slip fielder. Siraj flirting with the outside of delivery is not a good thing right now. No news yet on Jasprit Bumrah, as it is Siraj who preceded him in the batting order. India might retain the skipper only because of his back problem. If that's not the reason, it's not good news for the team.

Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar remain India's last recognized batting pair. The top and middle classes showed a bit of a rush to score points. While the strategy worked out well for Rishabh Pant, the same cannot be said about the other batters who were dismissed on Day 2. However, expect Sundar and Jadeja to play with patience today.

India vs Australia 5th Test, Day 3 Live: Can India bring 200+ people on board?
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Day 3 of the 5th and final Test between India and Australia from Sydney. However, the team still has a long way to go, especially if stand-in skipper Jasprit Bumrah is not considered fit enough to bowl.
