Relatives of actor Bob Saget contacted hotel security at the Orlando Ritz Carlton Hotel on Sunday when they were unable to reach him, triggering the discovery of the dead actor in his hotel room, according to an incident report released by the Orange County Police Department. . .
A hotel security officer was sent to Saget’s room after the call. According to the report, that employee knocked several times and tried to get in. When the hotel security team came in they turned off all the lights in the room.
Saget, who died Sunday in an Orlando hotel room, was found in his bed with his left arm across his chest and his right arm on the bed with no signs of trauma, according to the incident report.

According to the report obtained by DailyExpertNews, Deputy Adrian Gonzalez was responding to a call from the Ritz Carlton regarding a ‘Man Down’.
“I received information by broadcast that a man was not responding and not breathing,” Gonzalez said in the report.
According to the report, Orange County Fire Rescue was already on the scene and the man was pronounced dead shortly after the sheriff’s deputy arrived.
The report said OCFR stated that the man, later identified as Bob Saget, had died at 4:18 p.m. (4:18 p.m. local time).
A crime scene tape was placed and the deputy began his investigation, according to the report.
“My BWC (Body Worn Camera) was activated while I was checking the immediate area for signs of malicious intent,” Gonzalez said in the report. “It should be noted that none have been found.”
“The room itself was orderly with items owned by Mr. Saget on the nightstand, television stand, closet and bathroom,” Gonzalez said in the report.
According to the report, Saget was due to check out of his room on Sunday and his family had been unable to reach him.
After consulting with their legal team, the hotel management were the ones to notify the actor’s wife, Kelly Rizzo, of his death over the phone.
