The legislative party of BJP will meet on Monday afternoon to choose the next minister President of Delhi, sources have told NDTV. The leader of the legislative party is picked for more than a week after the BJP has won a huge victory in Delhi, so that Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi party is won away from Arvind Kejriwal.
The delay was due to the France and the American tour by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who returned to Delhi on Saturday.
Sources said the observer could be called early tonight or tomorrow morning. The measurement of the MLAs could be kept in the Delhi BJP office.
The BJP, which comes to power in the National Capital- a decade after it was won in the center after 26 years, is planning to convert the oedceremony of his new main minister into a grand event.
More than 200 members of parliament and former MPs of the party, Chief Ministers and Vice-first ministers of all NDA-Gerulde States will be present and the state leaders and employees will be present.
The party has been monitored is Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, says Sources.
Multiple names for the top message do the rounds, because the results made clear a pounding BJP victory last week.
Among the front runners is Parvesh Verma, the son of the former main minister of the BJP Saeh Singh Verma. The other names that do the rounds are former Delhi BJP chef and Malviya Nagar Mla Satish Upadhyay, senior party leader Vijender Gupta, newly chosen Janakpuri MLA Ashish Sood and Uttam Nagar Pawan Sharma.
Sources indicated that the BJP can even choose a woman to be the next minister president. Four of the new MLAs of the BJP are women – Neelam Pahalwan, Rekha Gupta, Poonam Sharma and Shikha Roy.
The party won 48 of the 70 seats of Delhi, no less than 41 more than 2020, and kept Aap, which won 62 seats that year, limited to only 22.
