Pakistan violates ceasefire in Jammu, two security forces are injured

Srinagar:

Pakistan Rangers have apparently violated ceasefire along Arnia sector of Jammu, reports say, leaving two Border Security Force jawans injured. The BSF has taken revenge.

This is the first major incident of ceasefire violation following a February 2021 ceasefire between India and the Pakistan Army. The BSF has not yet issued an official statement on the incident.

The injured men have been admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital. The doctors said their condition is ‘stable’.

The BSF has not yet issued a statement in this regard.
