Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a special honor on Saturday in Argentina – the “key to the city of Buenos Aires”.
Jorge Macri, the most important officer of the city, gave him this symbolic gift during his two -day visit. The key represents friendship and trust. Earlier, PM Modi met President Javier Milei for important conversations.
This visit was historical because it was the first time in 57 years that an Indian Prime Minister only came to Argentina for bilateral conversations (not for a large conference). Hundreds of Indian immigrants welcomed Prime Minister Modi outside his hotel, waving with flags and dancing on Indian music.
