A man claimed that 'poor' beauticists convinced him to almost spend on £5.18 Crore (4.3 million yuan) on detox and wellness treatments without a permit in a hair salon for two years.
By one South -China Morning Post Report, the man, Cheng, was forced to take treatments such as enemas and acupuncture, including wellness services, causing serious health problems.
Allegedly the test began in April 2023.
The salon staff reportedly promised him results, such as weight loss and a return to a more youthful appearance.
This is what happened:
Cheng claimed that he met a salon manager, Chen, in a local hair salon in 2023, who then invited him for the opening of his new branch.
There he met Zhou, the manager of this new salon.
According to the SCMP Report, Zhou persuaded him to go upstairs to 'experience the massage of a beautician' and under pressure from buying beauty services in the form of an account-up up.
During his subsequent visits to the Salon, however, Cheng claimed that he was constantly forced to add more money to his account.
“They were all young boys and girls, kneeling and said they were poor and couldn't even afford themselves, trusted customers to help their parents,” Cheng recalled.
He shared that the older beauticians 'customers would consistently encourage to refill', and said that the staff earned on performance -based committees.
What services did he do?
For two years, Cheng said that he underwent various “wellness services”, including treatments such as “skin -breaking needle detox” and multiple enemas sessions that are marketed as “intestinal cleaning”.
Every course of enema treatment cost him around £36 Lakh (300,000 yuan).
He also remembered that he had priced massages £6,000-7,000 (500-600) Yuan per body surface and multiple sessions of “remove abdominal dampness”, which cost £12,000- 24,000 (1,000 to 2,000 yuan) each.
The Salon records from Cheng showed that only one share in January was in total in January £46.80 LAKH (388,000 Yuan), and by 30 March his account balance exceeded £2.05 crore (1.7 million yuan).
Falling
After having undergone a series of these treatments, Cheng reportedly began to experience serious health problems, including recurring and persistent diarrhea, and non -mentioned needle marks on his skin.
He soon discovered that the salon was missing the necessary medical qualifications to perform such procedures and asked for a refund.
The Salon denied Cheng a refund, as a result of which he reported them to the authorities.
On July 9, the police confirmed that an investigation into the alleged medical practices without a permit had started in collaboration with Market Supervision.
