Rohit Sharma responds to the missed LBW opportunity in India© X (Twitter)
Getting Drs calls well remains a decisive factor for captains. But captains can not only decide whether they use assessments or not. During the second ODI between India and England in Cuttack on Sunday, India skipper Rohit Sharma was made to make a missed opportunity, because repetitions showed that a review hosts would have earned Harry Brook's wicket. There was a discussion about the incident after the referee on the field had decided the decision in favor of the seizure. But Wicket keeper Kl Rahul did not like to opt for a review.
Rohit saw three red flashing on the gigantic screen while the repetitions were seen, smoked in Rahul because he could not catch the trajectory of the ball. Even the Wicket keeper had his head, while he realized that a big chance was to beg.
Because of the biggest Wicket -keeper Kaalu Rahul we don't get the wicket from Joe Root, so it is a request to Rohit Sharma and Indian Team Management to throw this shit out of the team #Lcdlfallstars #SEVENTEEN #jailstool #Delhielectionresults #Cepostaperte #netsat #Championstrophy2025 pic.twitter.com/f9kerm1WWV

Brook continued with the good use of the lifeline and added 31 points to his knock before he was rejected by Harshit Rana.
Rahul has preferred the only place behind the stumps in ODI Cricket for Rishabh Pant. While the ODI team of India was announced for the 3-match series against England, there were speculations from Broek that Rahul defeated the role of the Wicket keeper. However, it was Rahul who eventually got that nod for the younger alternative.
Rahul did not succeed in working in the first ODI and his performance will also be checked in the 2nd ODI. With Broek also in the team, it would be interesting to see if he gets a chance in the third and final game of the series.
