A married school teacher in Russia was arrested and imprisoned for 9 years for sexual abuse of her 11-year-old student. Anna Plaksyuk, 27, reportedly forced the child to touch her breasts and let him kiss her on the lips, according to the New York Post.
Described as a “dream teacher” by parents earlier, Plaksyuk let the student stay after class and “stroked his private parts through his clothing”, a court in the Leningrad region in Russia was told.
She also sent her explicit nude photos to the child and demanded that he did the same for her in exchange.
According to the New York Post, the victim's mother found explicit messages and photos between the teacher and her son on the WhatsApp of his son. She reported the teacher to the school director in the city of Toksovo in the northern edge of St. Petersburg. She accused adhesive system of “systematically flirting, caressing and kissing.”
When the scandal came to light, the teacher blamed the boy to start the sick abuse in November 2023, which lasted four months before she was caught.
Plaksyuk told the police that in the months before the attack started, the child “had made compliments to her” and “signs of attention”.
According to local sources, many parents were shocked by the revelations and did not think that the accusations against her were true.
Colleagues said there was no indication of such a 'dark side'.
Plaksyuk was arrested in February 2024 and spent the past year in detention before the process. She has now been convicted of 'violent acts of sexual nature committed against a person under the age of 14'. She is also forbidden to teach another year after her release.
