The pink-ball Test between India and Australia might be over, but the players are still toiling hard in the nets in Adelaide. After the day-night Test ended in just 2 days and one session, the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, etc. decided to put in the hard yards in the nets in Adelaide before flying to Brisbane for the third Test . of the series. Ahead of the Gabba clash, Rohit Sharma's batting position was one of the biggest talking points among experts. However, it doesn't seem like the Indian captain is willing to change anything.
Rohit batted at sixth in the pink-ball Test, allowing KL Rahul to open further alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal. Both Rahul and Rohit failed to score runs, sparking discussions that the Hitman should regain his opening spot. But Rohit seems keen to play at least one more match in the middle order.
During India's net sessions in Adelaide on Tuesday, the broadcaster reported that there was no change in Team India's batting order from the pink ball Test.
In the nets, Virat Kohli worked on his back foot and the problem of pressing the ball on his front foot, which subsequently landed him in the slip. Rohit, meanwhile, continued to occupy a place in the middle class.

Broadcaster KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal came out first for the hits, followed by Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant. So the batting order indicates that Rohit may not be keen on moving Rahul to a middle-order spot at the Gabba.
Neither Rohit nor Rahul had a fruitful outing in the pink-ball Test that concluded on Sunday. But it doesn't seem like the team management wants to give up Rahul as an opener at this point, especially considering the way he performed in the Perth Test.
Rohit may be keen to take on the opening role himself, but his selfless act has once again proven that the Hitman always puts the team ahead of personal comfort.
