Luckknow:
The Supreme Court of Allahabad will hear a petition submitted on Friday against congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's husband, Robert Vadra, about his comments about Pahalgam's terror attack.
The petition against Mr Vadra has been submitted by the Hindu front for justice and others for the Luckknow bank of the Supreme Court. It was mentioned to hear for a Bank from Justices Rajan Roy and for Prakash Shukla on Wednesday, but it could not be heard.
The plea has sought that the center must be instructed to form a special research team (SIT) to investigate Mr Vadra's comments.
The petition has also sought that action is ordered against the businessman under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Twenty-six people, mainly tourists, were killed and several injured people when terrorists opened fire in a meadow near the popular tourist city of Pahalgam in the Anantnag district of South Kashmir on April 22.
Mr Vadra, the son-in-law of the Congrictorial Party Chief Sonia Gandhi and brother-in-law of party parliament Rahul Gandhi, caused a row by suggesting that non-Muslims in Pahalgam feel that Muslims are being “abused” in the country.
